Location: Gypsum, CO 81637
Gypsum is located in the Vail Valley at the west end of Eagle county, just 30 minutes from Beaver Creek and 35 minutes from Vail. The mountain community of Gypsum has a population of about 6,700. Our beautiful town is bursting with enthusiasm and is a doorway to all the great activities that come with being smack dab in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. Flanked by Red Mountain and Ten Mile Peak, there are miles of 4 x 4 trails, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and cross country skiing. Like a crown, Gypsum sits atop a fertile valley punctuating the mountain chain as it rolls westward.
The town is full of parks hosting ball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, an outdoor theater, volleyball courts and more! More businesses and families are moving into Gypsum and the town council is dedicated to the responsible growth of its community.
The Villas at Cotton Ranch are adjacent to the Gypsum Creek Golf Course, a Pete Dye designed 18 hole Championship course for players of all caliber. Gypsum Creek offers the longest golf season in the Eagle valley. It hosts numerous events such as golf leagues, tournaments, concerts, and even a Hawaiian luau.
